Trans-resveratrol is great at multitasking. It can help with heart health, brain health, anti-aging and has antiviral benefits. In recent years, extensive research on resveratrol has been carried out, demonstrating its capacity to prevent a wide variety of conditions, including cardiovascular diseases and cancer, and to control fungal, bacterial and viral infections.
Growing older is the largest risk factor for neurodegenerative disease, commonly known as brain health. Included in that group is Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s diseases along with ALS. Some of these are passed down in our genes, but there are ways to at least slow down the process. The good news is that resveratrol has shown that it may help with this.
