Adaptogens are plants that not only increase resistance to stress, but also boost concentration, performance and endurance when we’re tired.

In one study published in the journal Phytomedicine, researchers found that certain adaptogens used together can boost the stress response, and also increase tolerance to stress. The adaptogens they studied were a combination of Eleutherococcus senticocus, Schisandra chinensis and Rhodiola rosea.2

We all feel tired and listless sometimes, but if symptoms like these are part of daily life, you might be suffering from a deficiency of Vitamin B-12. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns healthcare providers to watch their patients for these signs of low Vitamin B-12 levels:3

  • Fatigue
  • Weakness
  • Heart palpitations
  • Fainting
  • Vision loss
  • Shortness of breath
  • Pale skin
  • Dementia
  • Tingling of the hands and feet
  • Anemia
  • Hallucinations

The CDC doesn't stop there: it notes that a B-12 deficiency can also show up as anorexia (an eating disorder), diarrhea and constipation… it might even boost the risk of heart disease and stroke.3

It's important to note that even if you have any of these signs, it does not necessarily mean that you have a B-12 deficiency. These signs could stem from many causes. However, it does mean that your healthcare provider might want to rule out B-12 deficiency as a possible culprit.

Adults and children over 10: take 1 slow dissolve tablet daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Let dissolve in mouth or under tongue. Do now swallow whole. For best results, we suggest taking 3 tablets a day for the first 10 to 14 days. After that, take at least 1 to 2 tablets daily.
