  • Finding: Immunity function enhanced by Passion Fruit, Agaricus and Cordyceps Sinensis.

    Natural Killer (NK) cells greatly help the body protect itself from invaders. As part of the body’s innate immunity process, NK cells are always circulating throughout the body. They have the ability to recognize stressed cells in the absence of antibodies and provide rapid responses to virally infected cells. In essence, NK cells allow for much faster immune reaction to body health threats.

    In contrast, T-cells are part of the adaptive immunity process and develop in the thymus. They don’t constantly circulate throughout the body – instead, they are induced in response to health threats and adapt to the specific type of threat.

    Bridging the gap between the body’s innate and adaptive immunity processes are the Natural Killer T-cells (NKT).
